I didn’t require my initial journey abroad until eventually I was 23.
I went to Costa Rica and got hooked on traveling. I couldn’t believe I had waited so extended to travel. And realizing what I was missing out on, I vowed to do it additional normally.

But like most Individuals I only had two weeks of getaway for each calendar year and I didn’t know any of the genius methods to save money and vacation longer. (This was in the times prior to the proliferation of journey weblogs!) Then, in 2005 on a journey to Thailand, every thing improved.

I fulfilled 5 backpackers who confirmed me that I didn’t have to be tied down to my career and that I didn’t want to be rich to travel. How? By just present. I experienced never even deemed the possibility of extensive time period vacation just before I fulfilled them.


Immediately after that journey, I went home, finished my MBA, quit my cubicle career, and, in July 2006, set out on an adventure all over the world.

My authentic trip was supposed to last a year. I didn’t appear property right up until 18 months afterwards. When back again, I realized I couldn’t go back to my outdated life or a standard work. I designed this web site and three months later on, I was on the street yet again.

I haven’t stopped since.
